1. General Returns Information
We hope you’re happy with your purchase, but if you need to return an item, please follow these steps:
- Notify us within 14 days of receiving your order by emailing Eddie hello@godmachine.co.uk with your order number and reason for return.
- You then have 14 days to return the item.
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original packaging.
- Keep proof of posting, as goods remain your responsibility until we receive them.
Non-Returnable Items:
- Swimwear (for hygiene reasons).
2. Faulty Items
UK Orders
If you receive a faulty item, please send photos of the item and packaging. Faults are categorized as:
- Manufacturing Fault: The case will be reviewed through our ‘Faulty Procedure.’
- Handling Fault: We will investigate and provide feedback to our processing team.
- Courier Fault: A claim will be filed with the courier.
Resolution Options:
- Exchange: A Royal Mail return label will be provided. Once returned, a replacement will be shipped, and tracking details will be emailed.
- Store Credit: A discount code will be issued for the faulty item(s)
- Refund: The faulty item(s) plus shipping will be refunded (unless other items were in the order).
International Orders
If you receive a faulty item, please provide photos of item and packaging. Faults will be categorized as:
- Manufacturing Fault: Processed through our ‘Faulty Procedure.’
- Handling Fault: Investigated internally.
- Courier Fault: A claim will be filed.
Resolution Options:
- Partial Refund: An agreed amount will be refunded.
- Store Credit: A discount code will be issued for the faulty item(s)
- Refund: The faulty item(s) plus shipping will be refunded (unless other items were in the order).
3. Incorrect Items
UK Orders
If you receive an incorrect item, the next steps depend on the cause of the error:
- Staff Error: Choose from a replacement, store credit, or refund. A Royal Mail return label will be provided.
- Customer Error: Choose from a replacement or store credit. Return shipping must be covered by the customer.
Resolution Options:
- Replacement: Once returned, a replacement will be shipped in the case of customer error the customer will be invoiced for shipping before dispatch.
- Store Credit: A discount code will be issued for the incorrect item(s)
- Refund: The incorrect item(s) plus shipping will be refunded (unless other items were in the order).
International Orders
If an incorrect item was received:
- Staff Error: The customer may choose between store credit or a refund. If a return is needed, the customer must cover return shipping but will be reimbursed upon proof of payment.
- Customer Error: The customer may choose between store credit or a refund, but they must cover return shipping.
Resolution Options:
- Store Credit: A discount code will be issued for the incorrect item(s) (plus shipping if it was a staff error).
- Refund: The incorrect item(s) will be refunded (plus shipping if it was a staff error).
4. Unsuitable Items
UK Orders
If an item doesn’t fit, doesn’t suit you, or you change your mind, you may choose from:
- Exchange: Customer must cover return shipping and will be invoiced for reshipping.
- Store Credit: A discount code will be issued for the item's value.
- Refund: The item's value will be refunded.
International Orders
If an item is unsuitable:
- Store Credit: A discount code will be issued for the item's value.
- Refund: The item's value will be refunded.
Customers must cover return shipping costs for unsuitable items.
5. Refused/Unclaimed International Orders
If an order is returned as ‘Unclaimed’ or ‘Refused’, we will contact you with two options:
- Reshipment: An additional charge for shipping will apply.
- Refund: A refund will be issued minus the original shipping costs.
To avoid this:
- Provide a valid email and phone number for customs/delivery notifications.
- Track your shipment using the tracking number provided.
6. Refunds & Processing Time
- Refunds are processed within 2 business days of receiving the return (this may take longer during peak times).
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method, and you will receive an email confirmation.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable (unless otherwise stated)
Important Notes:
- Items not returned in a resaleable condition (e.g., washed, worn, smelling of smoke, covered in pet hair) may be rejected. In such cases, the item will be sent back to you at your cost.
- Returns made after 28 days are accepted at our discretion.
